Stability testing is specific to the formulation of each product and is performed in real time with storage at ambient conditions or under accelerated conditions.
During stability testing we monitor:
• physico-chemical properties of the product (content of active substances, pH, viscosity)
• organoleptic aspects of the product (color, odor, texture)
• compatibility with the packaging
Product shelf life is determined based on the stability testing results.
The objective is to confirm the physicochemical stability, microbiological quality and compatibility of the product formulation with the packaging for the predicted shelf life under specific storage conditions.
